holy cow

SO for the month of October I've been dorkin out about Halloween of course. The seasons have arrived for the year. I've been very excited with all the decor and crafts that Ive been doing at work with the kids.

Ive gotten to attend a workshop,with a few of my friends, with a teacher from Mexico creating 6-8 ft tall Catrinas outta papier mache and cardboard. It is currently on display at the Putanam Museum in Davenport Iowa. A contest of all the Catrinas created in the workshop in a Belleza Contest, our group was able to get 2nd place! took 8 4 hr days to make and the museum was nice enough to donate some of their accessories for the display and the people who organized the event gave us the theme of Immigration to go with.
